The recent waves of Covid made us realise the importance of oxygen. With an increase in pollution levels everywhere around us, it’s good to have oxygen producing plants in our house as well. Here is a list of few plants that you should have in your house to enhance the oxygen production.

Areca palm:-

 

This is one of the best plants to purify the air. It removes the harmful chemicals present in the environment.

 

Snake plant:-

This is an excellent indoor plant. Besides absorbing significant carbon dioxide, this also absorbs harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, benzene and nitrous oxide from the environment.

Aloe vera:-

Besides being a great medicinal plant, this plant is good for skin as well. This is a good succulent plant. This absorbs all the harmful toxins from the air and releases considerable amount of oxygen. This is easy to keep as well.

 

Money plant:-

Easy to grow, requires less maintenance. This plant produces oxygen even at night and also   absorbs harmful chemicals form the environment.

 

 

Spider plant:-


 

This is one of the easiest plants to keep indoors. It can absorb harmful chemicals such as carbon monoxide, formaldehyde etc from the environment. This also brings positivity in the house.

 

Bamboo plant:-


 

This absorbs a harmful chemical called toluene present in the air which can be an irritant to eyes and throat. It increases the oxygen levels also tremendously. Keeping a bamboo plant in the house is considered to bring good luck.
