After a long wait, Thailand has opened its borders for travellers from 63 countries including India. This move comes due to an overall improvement in Covid situation. The country has allowed fully vaccinated travellers from 63 countries to travel.
Here are the requirements for travelling to Thailand:
- A Valid vaccination certificate with an approved vaccine 14 days prior to travel
- Any traveller must have stayed in the approved countries 21 days prior to travel.
- Children under 12 years are exempted from the vaccination criteria if they are travelling with fully vaccinated adults.
- A Covid negative report issued not before 72 hours before travelling.
- An insurance policy with coverage of not less than US$50,000.
- A confirmed payment for one night stay at SHA+,AQ,QQ or AHQ accommodation and 1 RT-PCR test.
Visitors would have to choose from one of the 17 listed destinations and stay there for seven days and then they can travel to any part of the country.
Most of the tourist attractions have opened up in major parts of Thailand. Most of the entertainment venues as pubs and bars are still shut till further notice
