The Ministry of Health Seychelles announced that the country is open to tourists irrespective of your vaccination status. You can travel the country even if you are not fully vaccinated.
Tourists just have to produce a negative RT-PCR test report. This should be done within 72 hours of departure. The economy of the country is solely dependent on tourism and this was very much required.
What all is required if you are planning to travel to Seychelles?
- A person who wishes to travel must acquire a valid Health Travel Authorisation to enter the country which can be taken from https://seychelles.govtas.com. You can apply on after you have a negative RT-PCR report.
- The tourists must purchase a valid health and travel insurance to cover up all the Covid related treatments.
Anybody who meets the above mentioned criteria would not need to quarantine themselves. Meanwhile the tourists would be expected to follow the appropriate Covid behaviour like wearing masks in public and maintaining social distancing.
The bookings should be made on licensed establishments that have been certified by the Public Health Authority.
