Pregnancy :- A state of time duration in which offspring develops inside a womb.

A duration with lost of ups and downs, hormonal changes, physical changes or overall a rollercoaster ride of giving birth to a new life. And since it’s so precious for the mother, they are overprotective towards their child and their health. Likewise mothers also need proper care, maintaining health and proper diet, that’s why in this pandemic of COVID-19 it was focused mainly on our senior citizens, children, pregnant women, lactating woman and people suffering from past history of health issues. Before every step for the mentioned people’s health we need to consult our doctor and clear our doubts properly. Government launches a lot of programs for preventing any unusual consequences.

The Central health and family welfare ministry has opened the COVIN portal for pregnant women following the recommendations of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI). Pregnant women can now register themselves for vaccine appointment through the government’s Covin portal. They are also eligible for walk-in at the nearest COVID-19 vaccination centre. The Ministry of Health has approved the vaccination of pregnant women against Covid-19. Earlier, according to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, the Covid-19 vaccine was said to be safe for pregnant women. The ministry had said that pregnancy does not increase the risk of Covid-19 infection. With this the rumors related to vaccine has came to an end.
Getting vaccinated won’t make you show up as positive on PCR tests. That’s because these tests look for copies of the genetic material of the virus as an indication that you have been infected. But vaccines only show a part of the coronavirus to our immune systems to trigger a reaction, and at most may only contain a very small part of the complete genetic material of the virus, and so won’t get detected by these test.
