In Capital Zika viruses cases has been found or will be found then on that place will be cantonment zone and also investigation should be start into 400 meter of radius from where zika virus case has been detected . Health Department team will visit door to door in cantonment zone of those areas for screening and also to collect samples .baricating will be also done outside the zika virus patient house . patients need to be in complete isolation.
In Town 8 Hospitals will have separate beds reserved for zika virus positive cases , whereas in remote areas CHC has made teams of 25-25 health workers who will visit village to village for screening and collecting the samples of public.
District Magistrate sriAbhishekPrakash had called for meeting with Health department and other department officials on Saturday and given instructions to form Zonewise surveillance team for screening to public and specially for pregnant women whoever has symptoms. Surveillance team needs to brief daily at 5 pm there after Chief Medical Officer team will will produce report at 6 pm in District Magistrate Office everyday . District Magistrate has appealed to public of Janpad to keep your houses and surrounding area clean and not let the water accumulation , wear full sleeves and covered clothes , use mosquito net to protect your self from zika virus .
Other side Dr. Manoj Chief Medical Officer said through health department team Cantonment zone has been formed inLalkuan, Hussainganj and Krishnanagar. If found one positive case of zika virus then our team will screening and collect samples of 100 people within 400 meter of cantonment zone and next day screening and sample collectin will be done within 1 k.m of diameter , for surveillance over Team Nodle Officer has been appointed .
C.M.O. Said to trace zika virus cases teams will visit door to door and those patients will be under supervision who has fever but their test result s are negative of Dengue, Typhoid, Malaria . All the Teams has been trained already .
Zika Virus can be spread through :
- Biting by mosquito , mostly in day time
- Infected Blood Transfusion
- Sexual intercourse with zika virus patient
Sympotms of zika virus is similar to Flu and in most of people its very mild so usually people won’t notice even but Zika Virus has severe infection mainly in mind and eye and it could be damaged even.
Administration has given instructions People who travel from Foreign ,kerala, Rajasthan in town will be under supervision. A list will be formed also on Airport supervision will be there for these travellers from 8 am to 8 pm under Deupty Collector SavitaShukla and from 8 pm to 8 am supervision will be under Additional District Magistrate Sri Ajay Pandey .Where as on Charbagh Railway Station Supervision will be under Additional District Magistrate-7 Md. Kamar in day time and at Night District Social welfare Officer Sri AmarnathYati .
