Docprime technologies, currently owned by PB Fintech have launched Docprime Health Locker. This is integrated with Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission.
Union Health Ministry launched Aysuhman Bharat Digital Mission in August 2020. This was done to develop an integrated digital health infrastructure. This mission tried to encompass digital Health IDS of the citizens, health professional registers, and personalised health records. This also meant ease in storing the data records of everyone.
Chairman and CEO, PB Fintech Mr Yash Dahiya said “We feel that just as UPI and Aadhar revolutionised payments and fintech in India, the creation of this robust public digital infrastructure by ABDM will fundamentally transform how healthcare is delivered. Over the last several months, the team has worked closely with ABDM to create this solution”
The free locker offers the users to make a digital health IDS for themselves and their family members. ABDM integrated locker after activation can be used to upload, store and manage all the health data. The health data can be shared with the doctors only after the users consent.
The Health locker has been rolled out nationally by the Prime Minister.
