As of November 18th, 110 nations have accepted the reciprocal recognition of Covid 19 vaccine certificates. According to the guidelines by the Union Health Ministry, all the travellers from these countries would be granted some relaxations on arrival (Category A countries). These countries in return would provide quarantine free travel to Indians on entrance.
Meanwhile there are countries that do not have a reciprocal arrangement with Indian, but they do exempt fully vaccinated Indians with a valid vaccine certificate.
According to the agreement, if a full vaccinated person travels from a country with which India has a reciprocal vaccine recognition arrangement, then that person would be allowed to leave the airport and he/she would have to self monitor themselves for 14 days.
If a person travelling to India is partially vaccinated, then he/she must submit a sample for post arrival Covid-19 test. They would be allowed to leave the airport and would have to quarantine themselves at home for a week. They would have to self monitor their health if they are negative.
Travellers, who arrive from countries except those at risk, would be allowed to leave the airport and they would be required to monitor their health for 14 days after arrival as per the new international arrival guidelines.
The government is planning to include the rest of the nations in this program soon
