Piles or hemorrhoid is a condition in which swollen and enlarged veins form inside anus or outside rectum. They can be very painful and cause bleeding as well. There are four types of hemorrhoids .
External

Prolapsed
Thrombosed
Internal
They are found inside the rectum. They do not usually cause any symptoms until they become large. When they become large they can cause pain, itching or burning sensation.
External
They are usually present near the anus. They may cause trouble in passing bowel movements and while sitting as well.
Prolapsed
Whenever an internal hemorrhoid becomes big and starts to ooze out of the anus, this condition is known as prolapsed haemorrhoid.
