If a woman’s fallopian tubes are open and eggs are being made, pregnancy is done through Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). This is an easy way to conceive at low cost.
- Q) What is IUI ?
* Intrauterine insemination or IUI is a procedure in which fast moving spermatozoa are separated from dead sperms and fertilized and sent to the donor’s uterus to allow pregnancy.

* There are many reasons Some of them are:-
- If the sperm has been taken from another donor.
- If the couple is unable to create relationship due to disability or any other problem.
- If a man has a sexually transmitted disease, which is likely to happen in a woman, then it is resorted to.
- Easy solution at low cost :-
To do IUI, both the fallopian tubes of the woman should be open, this is checked through tubal pertussis test. It is done with the help of laparoscopy. It is also detected by Ultrasound, X-ray and sonography. Apart from this, eggs are formed and ruptured in the woman, so in this case, before IUI, the patient was given medicine to make eggs, after the egg is formed, it is waited for maturity. This process is done after the egg is formed, it is not necessary that this process is successful in one go, once it is tried again after setting. It also depends on the age of the woman. Chances of getting conceived in older age also decreases. It is the easiest way to conceive at a low cost.
