In diabetes, two things cause the most damage to the feet – one is neuropathy and the other is a decrease in the amount of pure blood going to the legs. Due to the continuous accumulation of fat and calcium inside the tube, there is a narrowing in the tube. The result is that the supply of blood to the legs gets interrupted. If prevention is not done on time, the blood supply stops completely, which is a serious condition.

Neuropathy (sensory and motor) engulfs the feet of a diabetic patient, due to which the problem of tingling in the feet, especially in the soles and heels, and the pain increases with walking.

Dryness of feet are dangerous :-

In diabetes, excessive dryness occurs in the feet and skin of the feet. Due to this, cracks and pits are formed in the skin, which become a cause of infection in the feet. Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy occurs, due to which the glands that produce sweat and lubricate the skin stop working properly. Due to this dryness and bursting, early wounds are formed in the feet of diabetic patients and the infection reaches inside. It is very difficult to bring the infection under control. Sometimes an operation is also needed.

When do bunions form in feet :-

In diabetes, the pressure on the bones of the foot increases due to weakening of the muscles. Bunions are formed at the places of pressure in the skin, due to which the patient feels as if a pebble or small stone is placed inside the shoe. Due to this the pain in the feet becomes unbearable and the possibility of infection increases.
