- Sudden rise in anger or rage: Kids often show what they feel, so if they are battling with something that they cannot express, they show anger or resentment. If your child gets angry often, this is a sign that should not be ignored.
- Changes in diet: Either your child would start eating more or start eating very less. Notice for a sudden change in their eating habits.
- Withdrawal: Some children stop mingling with family and friends. They become quiet and recluse.
- Crankiness
- Low energy levels: The child complaints of getting tired easily or generally shows disinterest or fatigue.
- Felling of hopelessness: Communicate with your child and know their thought process.
- Concentration issues: Notice if your child has trouble concentrating in the class or at home.
- Any new ailment: Often children complaint of episodes of chronic headache etc that does not usually responds to treatment.
How is it treated in children?
The treatment options are similar to those of adults. The first line of treatment is counselling. If required, the doctor would start medication for the children.
