Dengue is a viral infection spread by mosquitoes. It is spread by infected Aedes mosquito.
The risk of dengue can be reduced by taking care of some things. There is no reliable vaccine yet available to eliminate this disease, so only by protecting yourself from mosquitoes, you can protect yourself from it. Unlike other mosquitoes, dengue virus carrier mosquitoes are mostly day bites, especially in the morning and is most active in the evening. Its symptoms usually start appearing within 7 days of mosquito bite.

▪️Symptoms :-

• Pain in muscles and joints.
• Rash in the body.
• Severe headache Irritation in the eyes.
• Feeling nauseous and nauseous.
• Fever.

▪️How to prevent dengue from spreading :-

• The only way to prevent or control the spread of this disease is to stop the breeding of mosquitoes.
• Empty the water container stored in the house.
• Clean water tanks, coolers or flower pots every week.
• Do not allow water to accumulate at any place.
• Dispose of waste material, kitchen and garden garbage every day. Don’t let it stay in one place for too long.
• Use a mosquito net while sleeping. This is the best way to prevent mosquitoes.
• Wear long sleeve clothes.
• Keep windows closed so that mosquitoes cannot easily enter the house.
• Apply mosquito repellent or moisturizer.
• Avoid using strong perfumes and soaps, this attracts mosquitoes.

▪️Treatment for Dengue :-

Like most viral infections there is no specific treatment or cure available. Stay under the supervision of a doctor if you have dengue.
If the platelet count is low, then it can increase the risk of internal bleeding. In such a situation, platelet transmission may have to be done. However, taking medicines on time reduces the complications of this disease. If you have mild symptoms of dengue, keep the fever under control and drink fluids, it keeps the body hydrated. The patient’s platelet count should be checked.
