Steps to increase oxygen level and keeping lungs strong:-

Corona virus infection first affects the respiratory system. This includes the parts of the nose, sinuses and throat. Due to Covid infection, there is a lack of oxygen in the body. If the lack of oxygen becomes more then it can have serious consequences. The oxygen level of the body can be maintained by nutritious food, yoga, regular exercise etc. Foods rich in iron along with abundant vitamins B and C fulfill the lack of oxygen in the body by keeping it safe from infection.

The 5 noticeable tips are :-

1) Change in diet plan is must :-

Antioxidant foods are necessary to increase the level of oxygen in the body. These include food made from soybean, wheat, oats and barley, including almonds, garlic onion, pumpkin, mango capsicum, sesame, broccoli beet, tomato and green tea etc. In the foods rich in iron, include goat meat, dark green leafy vegetables, lentils etc. in the diet. For vitamin B, take egg, chicken, milk, curd, mushroom, twenty peanuts and cheese, banana, spinach and fish etc. Lemon is an excellent source of Vitamin C. Apart from this, eat other citrus seasonal fruits, take carrots for vitamin A. Keep the body dehydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. It gives oxygen to the body. Reduce the use of salt. Excessive use of sodium reduces oxygen in the body.

2) Do yoga and exercise regularly :-

In such times of pandemic, definitely include exercise and yoga in your daily routine. Do exercises that strengthen the respiratory system. This strengthens the lungs and increases its efficiency. Do not exercise in dusty and smoky places. Give positive energy to the body by removing mental stress with yoga and meditation. This increases the level of oxygen in the body.

3) Keep distance from smoking and drugs :-

Smoking causes deep damage to the lungs. Cigarettes, bidis or such intoxicating substances increase the risk of lung infection. Also stay away from alcohol and gutkha etc. Along with this, stay away from the smoke of any cigarette etc.

4) Let fresh air come into the room :-

Generally we have seen we keep the rooms of the house ventilated, so that fresh air can come into the room, but with the advancing technology and cleanliness habits we keep them closed avoiding the fresh air to enter the room. Take care of the ventilation of the rooms, keep such plants in the rooms which give oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Do not use candles, incense sticks or other substances with chemical fragrance. They contain a chemical element called carrageenan. Pollution also damages the lungs. Also decide the time to get out of the house. Go out at a time when pollution levels are low. Go out of the house wearing a mask.

5) Do this exercise for the respiratory system :-

Keep one of your hands on the chest and the other hand on the stomach. Take a deep breath. Continue breathing until the stomach is completely out, slowly exhale and keep pressing the stomach lightly with hands, repeating the exercise as much as possible during the day.
