Lone survivor of the chopper crash, Captain Varun Singh’s health is fluctuating

Group Captain Varun Singh was admitted to the hospital with severe burn injuries after the Mi-17V5 helicopter crash near Conoor that took place on Wednesday. 13 people died in the crash on that unfateful day. The doctors said that his condition is critical but stable.

He was shifted to Sulur in an ambulance and then later shifted to Command hospital in Bengaluru. He is undergoing intensive treatment for his injuries. Group Captain Varun Singh is from Uttar Pradesh. He was recently conferred Shaurya Chakra in August for averting a mid air accident. His Tejas aircraft was hit by a major technical glitch last year.

Speaking about his condition,  Varun Singh’s father Retd. Colonel K P Singh said that “There is so much fluctuation that how my son is cannot be defined.
