Various Panchakarma methods are described in Ayurveda to keep the body healthy and prevent COPD disease, according to the rules, through which the purification of the body can be done easily. But under the supervision of Ayurvedacharya, according to the seasons, Panchakarma therapy methods should be followed.
- Vamana Karma – The spring season in February-March is called the period of Kapha. That is, these days more phlegm is made.
At this time, according to Panchakarma, vomiting is helpful in preventing COPD.
- Virechana: Bile increases naturally in the body during the winter season and COPD occurs due to excess of bile. Getting virechana done will prevent the serious condition of COPD like blood in the phlegm, Anuvasana and Aasthanavasti- Vata is the main period of dosha during the rainy season and Vata is also an important reason for COPD. After the summer, if the weather suddenly becomes cold and it rains, then the Vatadosha increases. To avoid this, VastiPanchakarma is used.
- Nasya: Nasya method is beneficial for those who have frequent cough and cold. AnutelaNasya is used, which remained very useful even during the Corona period. Putting a few drops of Anutel in the nose prevents infection.
