Doctors are also surprised by the reports of such patients. The number of platelets is continuously decreasing even in patients of viral, cold or chikungunya.
Like the corona virus, the forms of dengue are also changing. They believe that a new strain of dengue has knocked. This has raised everyone’s concern and doctors have said that there is a possibility that a new strain of dengue has arrived. In which the report of the victim patient is coming dengue negative but only the symptoms of dengue are present in them, because the number of platelets is continuously decreasing. Experts say that in general the blood platelets count ranges from 1.50 lakh to four lakh, but now it is going down very fast after fever. Therefore, the team of doctors is now examining the patients on this new aspect.
- Common symptoms of dengue :-
- Fever,
- Severe body pain,
- Headache especially in the eyes,
- Pimples on the back of the body.
- There are three main tests for dengue :-
- If the test is to be done in the first 1-3 days of fever, then antigen blood test can be done.
- If test is done after 4-5 days, then it is better to do antibody test (dengue serology).
After this, patients are advised to get platelets count test done.
