πŸ‘‰ Hemophilia is a genetic disease. This disease occurs only in men. Women are its career that is, this disease passes from mother to child. Its main symptom is excessive bleeding due to injury or cut. Hemophilia is a disease in which bleeding does not stop due to non-clotting of blood. This happens due to the lack of a particular protein in the body. 13 clotting factors help in clotting of blood in our body. There are three types of hemophilia A, B and C. Hemophilia-A is caused by a deficiency of factor eight. Similarly, hemophilia-B is caused by the deficiency of factor 9.

πŸ‘‰ Its main symptom is excessive bleeding in injuries or cuts. It is not necessary that this bleeding will be outside, internal bleeding also occurs. When walking on the knees, internal bleeding occurs due to repeated injuries to the knees in little kids. This all leads to swelling in the knees. If there are repeated injuries, then gradually the knee gets fixed, that is, there is a problem in movement. This makes the child handicapped.

πŸ‘‰ Blood test is done for its identification. In this APTT test is done. In this it keeps increasing.After this factor 8 and 9 etc. are checked. If a factor is found to be less, then how low is it. That is, the disease is tested for mild, moderate and severe, Haemophilia A. There are three types of B, C three – mild, moderate and severe, in which it occurs in mild level, in which the factor level is more than 5%. In the sewer level the factor level is 1% or less. Bleeding can occur in this disease without any injury.

πŸ‘‰ First of all, there should be a rescue effort so that the patient does not get hurt. If the patient has to undergo any surgery or dental disease the doctor should be given information about it during the treatment.

πŸ‘‰There are many medicines available to stop bleeding. Tranexamic acid injection is given. Apart from this, the bleeding stops even if the clotting factor is deficient, according to the weight of the patient, in the absence of the factor, fresh frozen plasma is offered.

πŸ‘‰ Haemophilia A occurs in one child in 5000. Haemophilia B occurs in one child in 30,000.

πŸ‘‰ RICE therapy is given to the patient in case of injury. The full form for RICE is :-

πŸ”ΈR (Rest): The place where the injury occurs has to be brought to rest immediately,

πŸ”Έ| (Ice) : Ice has to be kept in a cloth on the injured place.

πŸ”ΈC (Compression) : The cloth should be tied immediately at the point of injury.

πŸ”ΈE (elevation) : The injured area should be raised a little higher.
