Zika virus that is spread through mosquito from Aedes genusbites.
Aedes mosquitoes usually bites during the day time and same mosquito transmits Dengue, Chikungunya and Yellow fever .
In pregnant woman Zika virus transmits to fetus during pregnancy through sexual contact, blood transfusion and organ transplant
Usually there are no symptoms. In a few cases, Zika viruses can trigger paralysis (Guillain-Barré Syndrome). In pregnant women, it may cause subsequent birth defects.
In 1947, researchers isolated a new virus from a rhesus monkey in a tropical forest near Entebbe, Uganda. The virus, of the Flavivirus genus, was named Zika after the forest in which it was discovered.
Symptoms:
Majority of infected people by Zikaviruse does not have any symptoms.
Many symptoms are similar like Dengue – fever, joint pain, rashes on skin

Treat the symptoms only
There is no specific vaccine for zika virus
No any particular medicine for Zika viruses
Get rest maximum
Drink fluids to prevent dehydration.
Take medicine such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) to reduce fever and pain.
Do not take aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) until dengue can be ruled out to reduce the risk of bleeding.
If you are taking medicine for another medical condition, Consult your physician before taking additional medication.
Incubation period is vary from 3 to 14 days
Fatal-According to Centers for Disease Controls and Prevention(CDC), deaths are uncommon in zika. The symptoms of zika virus are generally mild and the infected person needs hospitalisation in severe cases.
